About the Teacher
Alexandra Denkinger, Acupuncture Therapist (M.D.Acu), Yoga teacher and inspired Body-Mind-Soul Bio-Hacker, dedicated to help people empower themselves to live the most authentic, healthy life possible.
As an all-time seeker on a soul-searching journey she came across many different yoga styles and healing systems. She moved from Germany to India to immerse herself in Ayurveda and Yoga nearly two decades ago. Life unfolded, she became a mom and took a break. But eventually she returned to her practice full time. She is on a mission to help people experience optimal health and long lasting transformation.
Alexandra hosts Nature Adventure Retreats, where she loves to take a group of people to outstanding locations and/ or to engage in nature activities like Trekking in Ladakh, Surfing in Sri Lanka, Bouldering in Hampi or Stand Up Paddle Board Excursions & Yoga in Goa.
This 100hr course is for yogis who already have a general yoga education and have teaching experience (but also if you simply do not have the time or resources to go for the full program right away). With this course, you receive a Yoga Alliance continuing education credits or it can be a part of our 300hr certification, but it will not qualify for a first registration as a yoga teacher.
If this is your first teacher training course we suggest you go for the longer version, our 200hr Yin Yoga Therapy teacher training course which is designed for people who are at the beginning of their yoga teacher journey as a first foundational yoga teacher education. With that course you will qualify to register with Yoga Alliance as a teacher.
However, even for an experienced teacher, there is a lot of value to go for the longer program and add the extra week, as a profound yin yoga therapy immersion - check it out. There are so many subtle layers to yin, the ancient Taoist philosophy and the way we can benefit from this wisdom of the chi flow and work with the meridians to ultimately transform a yoga class into
a mindful healing space, or how to offer personal sessions to our students when it comes to physical or energetic healing.
So, if you have the time we recommend taking the deep dive into the yin side and go for the longer immersion. However, both concepts are high-quality Yoga Alliance-affiliated teacher training programs with extracurricular Oriental medicine workshops, which allow you to learn all about yin yoga as a healing method and mindfulness practice.
With successful completion of the training, students will receive a Yoga Alliance affiliated Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from The Body-Mind-Soul Centre (RYS 300, registered school with Yoga Alliance).
Additionally you will also receive a Yin Yoga Therapy™ Diploma as a component of Alexandra Denkinger M.D.(ACU) physical therapy practice, licensed and registered as Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture M.D.(ACU) by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine, affiliated with Yoga Alliance as a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and owner of The Body-Mind-Soul Centre.
