Spring Awakening - A Beach Retreat in Goa
Join Chiara and Sara for a week of yoga, qigong and meditation at the blissful Nalanda Retreat Centre in Mandrem, North Goa.
The retreat has been planned to be nourishing and restorative, with two daily classes and plenty of free time for you to chill by the pool or on the beach, explore the local area or have a holistic treatment. POOL VIEW CHAKRA ROOM: The Pool View Chakra Rooms are tastefully adorned in colours and artefacts that will give you a sense of Rajasthani Royalty. With warm interiors of vibrant Indian colours, these rooms showcase Indian craftsmanship in the details of its carpentry work and rich fabrics, offering its guests a world of comfort, hospitality and a taste of luxury. About the Teachers
Chiara Donati: Chiara, an avid yoga and meditation practitioner since the late 90s, has cultivated a well-rounded teaching style. Initially drawn to Ashtanga and dynamic flows, she later embraced the tranquility of practices like Yin and Nidra. Her friendly approach creates a safe and grounding space where students can comfortably explore body and mind, guided by breath and mindfulness. Chiara's commitment extends to community classes and volunteering efforts, particularly supporting marginalized groups. Integrating inspiration from nature and Traditional Chinese Medicine, she incorporates Qigong and Tai Chi elements into her classes, even offering standalone Qigong sessions.
Sara Fusaro: Sara's yoga journey of over two decades began with a passion for Ashtanga, a love that endures to this day. The transformative power of yoga has shaped her life profoundly. Starting with vinyasa training in London, Sara furthered her expertise with traditional Hatha and Mindfulness training in India. As her practice evolved, her focus shifted from dramatic postures to embracing yoga as a gentle yet transformative journey for mind and body balance. With extensive knowledge, Sara personalizes poses for individual growth and confidence. Inspired by yoga's emotional and psychological effects, she delved into therapeutic and Well Woman Yoga Therapy. Sara extends her yoga outreach by collaborating with NHS, offering support through meditation, Yoga Nidra, and Sound healing in mental health and breast cancer treatment.
