There are 18 different Osho Active Meditations, four Osho Meditative Therapies and various tools on mindfulness that can be used in daily life.

Who is OSHO?

Osho is an enlightened master who is best known for his Active Meditations that use the body as a tool to explore mindfulness. He has created over 3000 methods of meditation designed to meet the needs of a vast variety of  people. The results are immediate and powerful. Osho has addressed various paths of meditation including Yoga, Sufism, Tantra, Zen, Taoism and has over 650 books written in his name.

Your personal meditation teacher and guide.. Agyat

Agyat’s life was transformed in 2013 when he discovered the teachings of Osho. After leading a busy chaotic life and a stressful career, Agyat moved into Osho’s commune in Pune where he practiced the daily art of meditation for two years, where he practiced meditation daily. His personal transformation during this time was so profound that he chose to dedicate his life to the teachings & practices of Osho, becoming a disciple and sharing the path with others. Agyat transitioned into the Himalayas to another Osho commune. Here he worked with, practiced along side and learned from the best Osho therapists, teachers and masters from around the world. Agyat has personally explored various paths of meditations including Sufism, Tantra, Zen and Osho Meditative Therapies. Inspired by these experiences, he then moved on to study Clinical Hypnotherapy and Reiki. Agyat is a source of inspiration & guidance to his clients in difficult times. He is able to help people to see complicated situations clearly & logically so that decision making becomes easier. Through using some of the meditation techniques he helps his clients move to the heart space from the head space, immediately to be more at peace & contented. 

'Meditation and sharing my knowledge is my passion and it brings immense amounts of happiness, joy and contentment to me. I am living my dream everyday by doing what I love. There are no social cause's behind my work. I am not trying to change a persons life, however if they choose to meditate and continue to meditate a great transformation is possible. Your stay at Nalanda

Our skilled yoga teachers with years of experience in Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin and Iyengar yoga, have helped create an environment where you can enjoy a relaxing yoga retreat with like-minded souls from all over the world.

Specially designed to celebrate the colourful and mystical spirit of India, our bouquet of chakra themed rooms speak to your senses, lets you soak in the relaxed vibes of our property and restore with your inner balance. Our in-house beach front restaurant The Chia Lounge serves tasty & healthy organic meals complete with superfood fueling ingredients to help you detox your system. From enjoying our large swimming pools, sunbathing on the sandy Morjim beach or watching the sun set into the Arabian sea, you can experience it all at Devarya Wellness - the serene environment to stimulate your mind, energise your body and speak to your soul.

  • A variety of evening activities open to all throughout your stay including Indian Kirtan, Indian music, movie nights, chanting and meditation

During your retreat you will offered daily two hour meditation practice with Agyat at times of your choosing. Start your day off with a dynamic yoga class at 8am in one of our spacious and airy roof top yoga shalas. Followed by fresh fruit juices and a healthy wellness buffet breakfast in our Chia Lounge beach front restaurant at 10am. Devarya Wellness is located next to the shores of the Arabian sea, which is a safe place to swim and relax in peace, with private beach access and loungers via our restaurant. You can use your free time to soak up the sun, go on leisurely walks, enjoy incredible sunsets on our beach and explore the beautiful state of Goa & its local attractions. Afternoon yoga at 4pm is a slower more gentle class easing you into the evening. Buffet evening meal with fresh salads and authentically prepared Indian delicacies are served from 7pm. Round off your day with one of our evening activities at 8pm including kirtan, meditation, classical Indian music and chanting.
